24 Special Ops iPhone App Review
24 is an extremely popular television series that really changed some of the ways we watched action dramas. Well now it has been released as a game for the iPhone and iPod Touch and it does not disappoint. The game focuses on the hero, Agent Jack Bower who is trying to unravel a mystery.
Throughout the game, the player will have to fire on enemies, crack codes and use the variety of weapons and skills provided to do so. The game starts of really quickly with a mandatory tutorial, but it soon gets you right on your feet and running against the clock. Controls are pretty simple: To move, the player taps on the different corners of the screen. Shooting in this game is handled by an automatic locking system.
Touching the screen and holding will charge the aim bar. The longer the player holds their finger down, the more accurate the shot will be in turn taking enemies down faster. Different weapons such as sub-machine guns and grenades can also be picked up to help with taking out the masses of enemies on your screen. The player can also execute sneak attacks on enemies by walking up behind them.
Overall, this game feels like an old Sega Genesis game and I love it. It the controls and feel of the game pay respects to an older style of gaming and it really does play smooth with enough content to keep you interested. Now let's see the majority of you crack the codes in the game, they are quite challenging.
