2011 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid Car Review Lincoln’s version of the excellent Ford Fusion is known as the MKZ, and for 2011, it oversee a gas electric hybrid powertrain just like its Ford sibling. The MKZ is a mid size premium front drive Sedan which Ford claims will now deliver the best fuel efficiency of any luxury Sedan in America.
The 2011 Lincoln MKZ hybrid uses Ford’s second generation hybrid technology with the 2.5 liter Atkinson cycle 4-cylinder engine. The system combines the best attributes of the gasoline engine and electric battery driven motors to deliver optimal performance in fuel economy. The combined gasoline engine and electric motor provide 191 net horsepower plus the pure electric mode on the linked in MKZ hybrid extends to 47 miles per hour quite impressive. The MKZ hybrid is expected to deliver 41 mpg city when it arrives this fall.
To advance the hybrid experience, Lincoln utilizes Smart gauge with eco guide to provide real time information to help drivers maximize fuel efficiency as your fuel economy grows so do Lincolns white flowers providing positive feedback to the driver.
Other technologies and luxury features like sync, MyKey, heated and cooled front seats and genuine wood trim are featured, pricing has yet to be released.
