A new race version of the awesome Porsche 911 GT3 is available for 2010. This is the GT3RS and over the top extraverted 911 with 450 horsepower. A zero to 60 time of 3.8 seconds and a top track speed of 193 miles per hour with increased power, lower weight and shorter transmission ratios as well as an upgraded body and suspension components. The GT3 RS is engineered for the race track but possesses a 3.8-liter flat six that is fully suitable for everyday use. The GT3 RS comes exclusively with a six-speed manual gearbox optimize for short gear shift travel, low weight and high efficiency. Dynamic engine mount served to improve the cars handling and allow for more comfortable conditions during street use.
A lithium ion battery saving 22 pounds is an option and can be swapped in on race day. With wider front and rear tracks, dynamic looks, low ride height, extra large carbon fiber rear wing and titanium exhaust system, the 911 GT3 RS is a purpose built beast.
