Pawtucket woman, Elinor Caldwell, was the daughter of the superintendent of a lumber and coal company. When business employees went on strike, Miss Caldwell begged her father to let her drive the lumber horse truck. Eventually daddy accepted the offer, allowing her to make several trips during the day.
