VIDEO DESCRIPTION:

At least two dozen animals died while filming "The Hobbit" in New Zealand. Wranglers say the animals died because of hazardous conditions at an off-site farm where they were being held. "Lord of the Rings" Director Peter Jackson's spokesperson confirmed the report, even saying that at least 2 cases could have been avoided. Kristina Behr has the details.
