The ceremony costs a whopping quarter million dollars for Wendy Diamond’s adopted dog Baby Hope to wed a poodle from Virginia named Chilly Pasternak, who was the top choice for a groom through an online vote. “It’s going to be the sweetest wedding — and just one of the funniest evenings ever,” said Diamond. “I never need to get married, now, because this wedding has everything.” The wedding is being held as a benefit gala event for the Humane Society of New York.

Another wedding ceremony held to benefit charity involved two dogs in Palm Desert, California. Over a hundred people attended the wedding in an effort to raise money for Orphan Pet Oasis Humane Society of the Desert in North Palm Springs.
