Kate Salko Looks Better Naked

Kate went from “obese” to a single digit size but still feels deflated and discouraged when shopping—she can’t find anything that works with her new, slimmed down body. She feels she looks better naked than when she dresses herself and needs to find the drive to lose the remaining weight. Kate wants Nina to help her find figure flattering looks to show off her great new shape so she can reach her weight loss goal.

Nina Garcia

Originally born in Barranquilla, Colombia, Nina Garcia is currently the Creative Director at Marie Claire magazine. To many, she may be best know as the unerring, formidable fashion judge on the Peabody Award winning hit show, Project Runway, now on its 10th season and viewed in over 13 different countries around the world.
Nina is also a New York Times bestselling author of four books on style: The Little Black Book of Style, The One Hundred, The Style Strategy and Nina Garcia’s Look Book, Responsible for covering the designer fashion markets of New York, Milan and Paris, Nina is an elite authority of the industry, and has cultivated an adoring fan-base of fashion "insiders" as well as those in the general market who flock to her appearances around the country.
She is the recipient of the 2010 Oracle Award organized by the NGO Fashion Group International (FGI). Prior to her work with Marie Claire, she worked as Fashion Director at Elle and prior to that held positions at both Mirabella and Perry Ellis. A graduate of Boston University, as well as the famed Fashion Institute of Technology, Nina has always credited her drive and success to her stylish parents for first showing her the potential of quality design and impeccable fashion.
