A bus plunged into a river in central Peru, killing at least 30 people, Wednesday. Rescue teams searched the mangled steel heap for survivors and negotiated the ravine's steep incline to bring victims and survivors to the top. Authorities say 52 people were on board when the bus fell some 164 feet into the Tarma River. Nine passengers are still missing. The accident, which happened in the early hours of the morning, had some speculating that there wasn't enough signal to alert the driver.
