The family of Jill Meagher leave court in Australia after hearing the sentence handed down to the man who raped and killed her. Adrian Bayley was jailed for life and must serve 35 years before parole is considered. Meagher's father George McKeon welcomed the decision. (SOUNDBITE)(English) GEORGE McKEON, FATHER OF JILL MEAGHER, SAYING: "Jill was brutally raped and murdered and is never coming back. Because of Ben Leonard and the team at Victoria Police and Richard Lewis and his colleagues at Public Prosecutions Victoria, justice has now been done. Police and prosecutors, we thank you." The body of Jill Meagher, originally from Ireland, was found in a shallow grave near Melbourne. The Australian Broadcasting Corporation employee was attacked on her way home from a bar. Bayley, seen here in file footage, was on parole for previous rapes and on bail for assault at the time of the attack.
