Mario Lopez: We’re going to cook. I love to eat, this is great. Okay Paula, what do we’re going to make?
Paula: I am going to show you how to make the most wonderful red velvet sandwich cookies.
Mario Lopez: Oh, it sounds delicious.
Paula: Do you want red velvet cake?
Mario Lopez: Yes, I love it.
Paula: Well, this is much like red velvet cake but we’re going to do like little individual cakes.
Mario Lopez: Okay, what do we do, step one?
Paula: All right, now here—
Mario Lopez: This is good! I can make this. Can I make this?
Paula: Oh, you can—
Mario Lopez: Because I can barely boil water.
Paula: You can blow some girl out of the why.
Mario Lopez: That’s what I'm talking about. That’s what I need to know there.
Paula: Not that you need a sandwich cookie to do it, will you?
Mario Lopez: I'll take what you’ve got.
Paula: But you can. All right now, in here I've got all purpose flour, coco, baking power, baking soda and a little salt. So if you would now take your mixer—
Mario Lopez: What is this, what in there?
Paula: This is sugar and butter that we have just creamed up together.
Mario Lopez: Sugar and butter, okay now I go this.
Paula: Sit it down right here, take your mixer.
Mario Lopez: This deal.
Paula: That deal, there you go. All right, you want to beat pride?
Mario Lopez: Do I have to juice? I like to beat and then correct.
Paula: Okay, well you can do both off, men I just can stay and back here.
Mario Lopez: Oh wait, I'm a beat a knob because I'm going to be like I I'm very—I like to go—I make cereal, I can wash grapes that’s about it. I can grill a little bit that’s—
Paula: Wash grapes.
Mario Lopez: Fine then.
[Voice Overlap]
Paula: I can see why you’d made it so big. All right now, pick your little mixer and start beating it, just beat it by you made it.
Mario Lopez: Beat here?
Paula: No, beat there.
Mario Lopez: I don’t know. Hold on here we go.
Paula: Just take your thing in there and beat it.

Paula: All right.
Mario Lopez: No comment there. Wait do I stop when you do that?
Paula: No, you don’t stop honey. You don’t stop until mama yell.
Mario Lopez: All right. I love when I have a woman tell me what to do. Make it so much easier.
Paula: All right, there's another egg.

Paula: I know! We've got apple sider vinegar and that’s kind of big careful right now because this is red food coloring.
Mario Lopez: Is that red food coloring there? Okay.
Paula: This is vanilla.
Mario Lopez: Vanilla, okay.
Paula: Buttermilk.
Mario Lopez: Buttermilk, okay.
Paula: All right now, we’re just putting the last different dry in.
Mario Lopez: Okay, this great I got to take it up and not to destroy it, right—
Paula: Yeah.
Mario Lopez: That’s looks pretty good, that looks really good.
Paula: Red velvet is like my favorite.

Paula: All right, so all you—
Mario Lopez: I must say I did a great job.
Paula: Yes, you did. You did a fabulous job.

Paula: Oh, look thinks do you thing like that it will leave it down.
Mario Lopez: Okay.
Paula: You see?
Mario Lopez: Okay.
Paula: Because we don’t want them to stick together.
Mario Lopez: So it’s kind of like cookies where you put around—
Paula: Yes, it’s kind of—all right, put it right there and level it all, there you go.
Mario Lopez: Okay.
Paula: Perfect, now we’re going to put this in 375 degree oven. This will make three sandwiches we going to bake them all for ten minutes.

Paula: And we’re going to fill it in between our pieces of cake.
Mario Lopez: Wow!
Paula: When my children were little I made chocolate gabs for them and they will make just kind of the similar idea.
Mario Lopez: Similar process? This is great and then I just put right on top of the other, right?
Paula: Yes and then we just go there—
Mario Lopez: And you can do a double deal like if I put more there and put this right on top then I can do a big super shower show?
Paula: Oh you absolutely could or you could take this cakes and you could fill them with ice cream.
