Try to make whatever is going to happen go down outside of company events. Start with a lunch or drinks. Do not use a holiday function as an excuse to let him know how you really feel.

Now you’re dating, fantastic. Human resources may have something to say about your new found love and so may their lawyers. Did you know that 70% of companies do not have a policy on dating in the office and others have the love contract?

Unfortunately, most relationships end. It’s a sad fact of life. The best thing you can do when your office romance ends is do not let it end badly. At least not in public.
