Learn how to fold a cool little origami paper tank.
We are going to make a little tank out of one sheet of 8-1/2 by 11-inch paper. This fold is very similar to the spaceship fold that I demonstrated. Start by folding the sheet in half hotdog style. Then take one of the corners from the end and fold it down. Crease and unfold. Take the opposite corner and do the same. Now we are going to pinch-in along the guidelines to make a triangle shape. This is similar to the water bomb or balloon base. Rotate the sheet and repeat at the other end.
Now we will fold in the sides so that they fit underneath this triangle flaps. Make a good crease and then fold the flap back on itself. This will become the wheels of the tank. Repeat these steps on the other side.
Now choose one end and fold the flaps up and end towards the center. Do not fold exactly to the middle because we will need a small gap between the two flaps. Now flip the sheet over and fold that end up and back. Then take the opposite end and fold it towards the flaps that we have just created. We are going to fit the flaps from the front underneath the flaps from the back.
Next we can tuck these hanging flaps underneath, slide a finger underneath here and pop the wheels out gently. Do that on both sides of course. Here, I furled up a note as a barrel.
Now go blow the stuff up.
