From the most innocent of celebrities, everyone is involved in their fair share of controversy. These stars prove that when scandal breaks, everyone is watching.
Mel Gibson goes off on a TV reporter. Find out all about it.
Host: A frustrated Mel Gibson was on the Chicago morning show plugging his movie when things got a little awkward.
Male: Do you think that public will perceive you any differently after all this has been in the news about you?
Mel Gibson: What are you referring to specifically?
Male: I'm referring to the drinking problems, referring to what’s been called the anti-Semitic brand, referring to all those things, you know what I’m talking about.
Mel Gibson: That’s almost four years ago dude. I mean I’ve move on. I guess you haven’t.
Host: After a few more moments of cringing television, the reporter gave the obligatory plug to see the movie when Mel gave his own special sign off.
Male: Thanks a lot for joining us Mel, take care.
Mel Gibson: Bye-bye.
Host: But this is not the first time that Mel has been asked about his anti-Semitic remarks made during the now infamous DUI arrest four years ago while plugging Edge of Darkness.
Male: Some people like people are going to welcome you back. Another people are going to be like you should never come back.
Mel Gibson: Why?
Male: Because of what happened before.
Mel Gibson: What happened before?
Male: The remarks that were attributed to you.
Mel Gibson: That were attributed to me, that I didn’t necessarily make, okay but I gather you have dog in this fight.
Male: Pardon me.
Mel Gibson: You have a dog in this fight or you're being impartial.
Host: We don want to be called -- so we’ll just say go out and see his movie.
