Review of the Evernote App - the definitive source of iphone app reviews.
Evernote is probably one of the more solid applications for the iPhone and the iPod Touch. It’s really easy to keep track of what’s going on in your day-to-day life with this. For example we’re going to set up a brand new note here and just try it out and show you exactly what you can do. You can do tag your note by putting in specific key words that you want to reference to later and then you can run a message in there but the big thing about Evernote is that you can do it with a text not, picture. You can take a brand new picture and you can even do a voice note. What it does is once you’re finished with the note, it actually sends it over to its server based on your user name and it syncs it up so you can view it on your computer as well. There is a really nice Mac side client to Evernote that makes things a lot more useful than just using it on your iPhone or iPod Touch. But on its own, it is still pretty powerful. There’s not a lot of real options for text editing but if you watch here even on edge once you’re done writing the note, it keeps it in pending for next to no time and then puts it live in your note section. This can be viewed on your computer like I said or your iPhone or iPod Touch and you can see all the past notes that we‘ve had a chance to put here as well. This was a screen shot and that we’ve decided to use but the issue is on anything but 3G or Wi-Fi loading up images through Evernote does take a little bit more time that you probably are willing to spend. Overall, we are still going to give Evernote a five put of five stars and this is a must-have app for the iPhone and iPod Touch.
